Mygumah Health Supported Living is a provider of In-homecare and Residential Services in Washington State with a focus on high quality person-centered services. The leadership of MHSL understands the importance of person-centered services to provide individually defined total wellbeing.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advocate and support participants to achieve total wellbeing; high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning and purpose, exercise their rights, happiness, manage stress, community inclusion and enjoy life.
Our Philosophy
We believe in providing person centered services for the people we support. We encourage the people we support to engage in community-based activities. We provide our employees with the right training to make a difference. We believe in employee development and training. Our founder, Adams Gumah Kelley, is currently serving in the United States Army. He started his career in the human services as a Direct Support Professional.
Our Founder
Mygumah Health Supported living was founded by Adams Gumah Kelley (MSc.), who has experience providing human services. Adams had the opportunity to work as a Direct Support Professional and a Residential Manager. He has the history of supporting business owners set-up multiple residential support services to provide services to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities in community-based settings.
Adams worked with Development Disability Administration (DDA), and so he knows and appreciates the challenges that staff faces.
Adams is a service personnel in the Washington State Army National Guard, and so he believes and lives the army values; Loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. All these values help him make innovative decisions to improve the wellbeing of the people we support. He has a Masters Degree in Project Management. He is a trained paralegal, and so he is proficient in state regulations. Adams is focused on providing quality life and person centered support.
